Ulceration

The interactive tool below is provided to support navigation of the ulceration pathway. The interactive tool is a Q&A version of the pathway that takes the user to an endpoint based on answers to questions about the patient and their presenting symptoms.

Some endpoints may list several conditions that share similar presenting symptoms.

Brief advice for self-care is included within the pathway tool. A description of each condition and additional advice on initial management and subsequent care is available in the relevant section of the SDCEP Management of Acute Dental Problems guidance via links provided at each endpoint.
